Welcome to IAPAC.
Indo-American Political Action Committee of Greater Houston
IAPAC is organized to achieve the following objectives on behalf of Indo-American community in the Greater Houston area:
- To promote and encourage political activities and increase political awareness in the Indo American community.
- Encourage Indo Americans to become citizens and register to vote.
- To encourage, assist and facilitate a public forum debate with political candidates whereby our concerns can be heard.
- Create opportunities for Indo Americans to work as political interns and to get elected to local, state or federal public office.
- Keep Indo American community abreast of any legislative changes that will affect them.
- To facilitate better understanding between USA and India by encouraging local members of the House of Representatives and Senate to visit India.
- To network with other Indo American Political organizations in other major American cities which would enable us to be an active participant in the federal election process.

- Interviewed six potential candidates for Board positions
- Updated and tweaked the by-laws
- Interviewed a candidate for potential Executive Director
